This was writen with the intent of using cdr, cdrw & dvd'r,
it may require a few alterations if using dvd'r.



First Download/ obtain RecordNow.

Assuming you have now installed RecordNow it's time to burn :)

         Recommendations

After you have downloaded Mame-X.rar or Mame-X.zip create a folder called Mame-X
on your pc harddrive, then Extract The Mame-X.rar drectory's & Files into
the Mame-X directory you created.

Now put your ZIPPED up versions of your favourite games into the roms directory.

Winrar version 3 or highter will be needed to extract .rar files or you will
receave an error message.

If using a CDRW that is either brand new or used besure to fully erase rather than
using ones that have been quick erased.

Trust me Quick erase does not work, alteast not for me plus use
RecordNow to do the full format.

RecrodNow - How to burn Mame-X
-------------------------------------

STEPS 1-
============

1) Load/ Run RecordNow.
2) Skip/ Close the RecordNow Wizard.
3) Select File --> NewJob --> "DataDisc".
4) Select Edit --> "Add Files And Folders".
5) Browse until you find the Mame-X folder on your harddrive
6) Open the Mame-X folder
7) Hold down the control key on your keyboard and use the mouse to highlight all the files
   to add to the Mame-X disk.

   These should be:
   media --- folder
   roms ---- folder
   samples - folder
   default.xbe - file
   mame.ini ---- file

8) Once you've highlighted them all, then press 'add' 
9) Select Edit --> Recording Options and set : see below

   **************************
   * IF USING CD'R OR CD-RW *
   **************************

   CD : 
   Recording type : "Disc At Once (DAO), Closed" ,  Mode : "Mode 1"
   File System Type : "UDF - Up to 128 in filename length, any char., plus 8+3 (bridge)".
   Now Click O.K

   ******************
   * IF USING DVD'R *
   ******************

   DVD : 
   Recording type : "Disc At Once (DAO), Closed" ,  Mode : "Mode 1"
   File System Type : "UDF - Up to 128 in filename length, any char., plus 8+3 (bridge)".
   Now Click O.K

10) In main window, set your burn-speed to 4x.
    I don't know if any higher speeds work, but 4x definitly works. 

11) Select File --> Record and off you go.
